Jinja, a town located on the banks of the River Nile, 2 hours east of Kampala, is known as the Adventure Capital of Uganda. This is because of the wide range of exciting Nile-based activities that are available there such as white water rafting, jet boating, bungee jumping, kayaking and much more. For the less adventurous there are also some more leisurely water-based activities such as boat trips and kayak cruises. Rest assured, there are no hippos or crocodiles in this stretch of the river.

Beyond Jinja, there is more adventure to be had in other areas of the country including gorilla, chimp and rhino tracking, mountain climbing, horse-back and quad bike safaris, trap, skeet and sport shooting, mountain biking, wind-surfing and jet skiing.

Please get in touch if you would like us to design a custom safari for you including any of the adventure activities listed here.
