Uganda has all of Africa’s Big Five animals: lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo. It also has many other species including hippo, a wide variety of antelope, crocodile, wart hog, giraffe, jackal, primate, aardvark, pangolin and honey badger as well as around 24 primates, including chimps and the iconic mountain gorillas.
