Photographer Tate Drucker

Join photographer Tate Drucker on a special wildlife photography safari.

Spend memorable moments with the enchanting mountain gorillas and chimpanzees, get close to wildlife on a safari walk, enjoy the stunning scenery and meet the warm, welcoming, local people. An excellent safari with the full support of a professional tour guide and talented professional photographer, Tate Drucker.

Tate is an America-born, Mozambique-based award-winning photographer whose pursuit of wildlife and travel photography has taken her to more than 70 countries across the globe. Tate’s work both in travel photography and documentary photojournalism has been recognized and published by countless publications and regular clients, including National Geographic, The Nature Conservancy, The Guardian, NPR, Wild Magazine, The Telegraph, Empower the Children, and more.

For four years Tate has guided photography workshops and expeditions in more than ten countries across four continents, though she specializes in safari and culture workshops throughout East and Southern Africa, where Tate has worked and explored over the course of the past eight years.

The aim of this photography tour is to enhance the client’s skills as a photographer — whether a complete beginner or a well-seasoned veteran — in order to walk away from a visit to the Pearl of Africa with photographs to be proud of. Photographers of all skill levels are welcome, whether complete beginners simply looking to learn their way around a camera or to take photos home to friends and family, or well-seasoned photography veterans or professionals looking to craft a diverse portfolio or take their skills to the next level.

The intimate group size that this tour entails will allow Tate to work with clients on a one-on-one basis. She will figure out each person’s individual goals, skills, and weaknesses, to get the absolute most out of their time together. You will have Tate’s undivided attention and wealth of knowledge while shooting out in the field.  Back at your accommodation, she’ll be available for personal photo critiques and questions.
