Incredible and unforgettable two weeks designed to suit our interests and needs. From the moment we were collected from the airport until our final reluctant goodbyes, the Venture Uganda team were friendly, professional and great fun!
Everything ran smoothly as we travelled around the south west of Uganda visiting a range of national parks and doing many activities such as game drives (dawn and dusk), Gorilla Tracking and Kayaking/Birdwatching on the Nile. The accommodation had been carefully selected and was excellent value for money- all were beautiful lodges with breathtaking views.
Our guides Hannington and Michael taught us so much about their people and their country as well as sharing their enthusiasm and expertise in birds and all other wildlife. Families of elephants, crocodiles, tree-climbing lions are just some of the encounters we were privileged to have.
On top of all this, on the couple of times we expressed interest in additional activities or the tweaking of the itinerary, Hannington and Michael adapted the schedule making everything seem so easy. We can’t remember being more relaxed on a holiday and yet we had so many adventures and are left feeling rested and wanting to go back for more.
